16 Dec. 2009, Hixpo, Ningbo, China – This afternoon, a press conference for Ningbo International Fashion Fair’s entry into UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) was held by Ningbo Municipal People’s Government. Thus, IFFAIR became the first professional UFI-Approved Event in Zhejiang Province and the East China as a whole.

Mr. Chen Bingrong, Secretary General of Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, attended the press conference and made a speech. At the meeting, there are also Mr. Lin Keyu, Director of Ningbo Economy Committee, Mr. Zhou Xueming, Deputy Director of Ningbo Economy Committee, Mr. Fang Feilong, Divisional Director of Ningbo Municipal Publicity Bureau, etc. China Radio, Economic Daily, Ta Kun Pao and Wen Wei Po from Hong Kong and so on covered the press conference.

UFI was established in 1925 with its headquarters located in Paris, France. It is the only international organization for exhibitions and fairs till now, acting just like WTO of the world exhibition industry. IFFAIR’s entry into UFI this time manifests that it is already a professional trade fair live up to its quality and fame.
